Not everything is ready, because we continuously develop the selection based on feedback and wishes we receive from customers. New products and services are constantly appearing in the online store, so it’s worth staying tuned.

First of all. A big thank you for visiting our online store and for buying the products and services of our Finnish partners. All the euros in our online store go to Finnish work, products and services.
Tunturipuu’s online store actually began when we (Anne and Esa) bought a cottage in Lapland, in Levi. We thought that would be it. Let the pleasant holiday begin. We were wrong.
We did not know where to get firewood for the fireplace, who does the snow work, who maintains the cottage, cleans or repairs small faults. Where do we find a provider for lifecycle services, device maintenance, transports – or even activities for the holiday.
We longed for such services to be procured easily and effortlessly. Many cottage owners have surely wondered the same things – and if you rent out the cottage, wouldn’t it be great to be able to give the tenant one contact through which they can get help from the start to the end of the holiday? We began to wonder if such a service could have other users.
We founded Tunturipuu’s online store based on our own needs and experience. There are better things to do on holiday than worry about cottage maintenance and firewood.
We at Tunturipuu take care of things. Firewood, snow clearing, chimney sweeps, maintenance, the condition of the cottage, cleaning, activity services and much more – all from the same address. This way the holiday goes without stress, when you can focus on enjoying your holiday.
In addition to services, Lapland products and souvenirs are part of the holiday. That is why we decided to include them in the online store selection as well – new products and services are constantly being added!
From Tunturipuu’s online store you’ll find gold for the neck and ears, soap, drums, skis, car chargers and much more – all made in Finland, with Finnish labour. We are not the cheapest and fastest online store, but certainly a high-quality and domestic one.
We cannot compete with the prices of foreign online stores. We operate calmly, with quality and responsibility – and you always know where your package is traveling. Posti delivers our packages using electricity produced by solar or wind energy, directly to your home or cottage, from Finland
Tunturipuu is a Finnish family business whose mission is to make your holiday effortless.
We invited Anssi, who is passionate about problem solving and brainstorming, to be a partner in the early stages. In cooperation among all members of the team we have solved many problems and developed a strategy for the future. We can already see how in the future we will serve further south in addition to Lapland. Possibly in the future even more westward than what the borders of Suonen are.
From the very beginning Pertti, who has local knowledge, has been involved. Pertti has good regional networks and is, in spirit like all the people behind the Tunturipuu.fi online store, a reliable partner and a big-hearted doer who gets things done. Tunturipuu.fi is part of the Reliable Partner network, which has been granted by Vastuu Group Oy.

Summer 2018 somewhere in Lapland far from everything. There where night is not night and day is not day. There where the sky touches the earth.
Misty morning on the river. The steady sound of the pump is buried under the roar of the rapids. The vacuum cleaner’s nozzle sucked gravel. A strange, light-hearted, exuberant feeling filled the mind of the gold miner dressed in a diving suit. A restlessly slept night and the stones that had turned in dreams only added to the strange expectation.
In the crack of the rock GOLD glittered. This beauty had found its place during the Ice Age. Now it got out of that cold grave of the bedrock and the foaming rapids.
In the prospector’s fist the nugget glittered, competing with the sunbeams revealed from behind the cloud. Now its thousands-of-years-long wait is over. Maybe it would now make its way to some lady’s or lover’s neck as a jewel or to a gentleman’s tie pin.
