Technical condition inspection and reporting
NOTE! this service is not the condition inspection required for a potential home purchase, but a survey of the property’s current condition
The inspection is carried out by sensory assessment. The inspection does not include structural openings, drillings, measurements (except room temperature) or condition investigations of building components. The inspection will report observations on the property’s current technical condition, urgent repair needs and safety observations. The service provider or intermediary is not responsible for defects or shortcomings of the property and building. The inspections will report to the client, in accordance with the service terms, the repair needs and safety observations that can be detected by sensory assessment and reasonably, as well as recommendations for possible further actions. Home/ mökki inspection
- Functionality of doors and ventilation windows and condition of seals
- Visual inspection of surface structures
- Functioning of plumbing fixtures
- Visual condition of floor drains
- Inspection of ventilation operation, terminal units and the range hood
- Inspection of indoor conditions and room temperatures in the living area
- Condition of electrical fixtures (sockets, light switches)
- Functioning of fixed lighting (e.g. transitional space lighting)
- Testing of the smoke alarm (not fire detectors or systems)
