Description
The KSF Patrol is a shorter forest ski developed on the basis of the Scout BC, which is well suited for dense forest, deep snow as well as snowmobile trails.
Supportive, light and durable KSF Patrol BC is a fish-scale base ski that does not need waxing:

The KSF Patrol ski has several carefully designed details that improve the ski’s functionality and make its use in terrain conditions easier compared to traditional forest skis.
- The flotation of the wide-tipped and wide-tailed ski in deep snow is excellent
- Thanks to the smooth flex of the tip section, the ski rises to the surface of the snow very well
- The high ski tip prevents the ski from “diving” into the snow while skiing
- The top part of the tip flex is shaped so that it gives a good grip when pulling the skis by hand while wearing mittens
- The aluminum reinforcement in the ski’s tail strengthens the easily damaged tail and allows the skis to be planted upright in the snow at rest stops
- The upward-curved tail of the ski prevents the ski from sinking into the snow when sliding backwards
- The tip holes enable the formation of a transport device
- There are holes in the ski tips through which a string or rope can be threaded when pulling skis or a sled made from skis. In addition, the skis can be hung from a loop of rope for storage.
The NordiGrip 50 binding, due to its strong construction, is also suitable for very heavy use. The binding’s simple structure, excellent adjustability and suitability for almost all footwear solve most of the problems that hikers, hunters and others moving outside groomed tracks in snowy nature have previously encountered.

The NordiGrip 50 binding has several features that facilitate use:
- The binding is easy and quick to open and lock with one hand while wearing mittens, thanks to a large carrying lever
- The width of the binding body and the angle of the side pieces can be adjusted almost continuously by loosening the binding screws
- The binding’s aluminum side springs attach to the binding piece with a strong, easily removable hook
- The side springs have a thread that goes into the binding’s heel piece, allowing the distance of the heel piece to be adjusted steplessly according to the size and model of the footwear used
- A safety strap can be attached over the toe of the shoe through the holes in the binding’s side pieces
- The binding’s construction allows a hunter to operate on skis also in prone and kneeling positions
