Description
KSF Patrol NW 200 nano-coated, a completely new type of forest ski whose grip and glide properties are excellent. The skis’ good load-bearing capacity, the rise of the flexible and high tip section to the surface of the snow, as well as directional stability, durability and lightness make moving off-track with Patrol skis effortless and fun. The new nano-coating on the skis performs excellently both on dry, cold snow and in wet and moist conditions.
Patrol is at its best when moving in the forest and on snowmobile trails or when pulling a pulk. The 180 cm long Patrol is easy to handle even in dense forest and to transport in a car. The universal stiffness of the nano-coated skis suits all users regardless of the weight of the skier and the load.
Load-bearing, light and durable KSF Patrol ski that does not need waxing:
- length: 180 cm
- weight: 2.1 kg / pair
- sidecut: 90 mm (tip) – 75 mm (middle) – 82 mm (tail)
- durable cap construction
- aluminum reinforcement in the tail
- nano-coated wax-free base
- Made in Finland
The KSF Patrol ski has several carefully designed details that enhance the ski’s functionality and make its use easier in terrain conditions compared to traditional forest skis.
- The load-bearing capacity of the wide-tipped and wide-tailed ski in deep snow is excellent
- Thanks to the smooth flexing of the tip section, the ski rises to the surface of the snow very well
- The high tip of the ski prevents the ski from “diving” into the snow while skiing
- The upper part of the tip flex is shaped so that it provides a good grip on the skis when pulling them by hand with mittens
- The aluminum reinforcement in the ski’s tail strengthens the easily damaged tail and allows the skis to be stuck upright in the snow at rest stops
- The upward-bent tail of the ski prevents the ski from sinking into the snow when sliding backward
- Tip holes allow the formation of a carrying device
- There are holes in the ski tips through which one can thread a string or rope when pulling skis or a sled constructed from skis. In addition, the skis can be hung from a loop of rope for storage.
The NordiGrip 50 binding is, thanks to its robust construction, also suitable for very heavy use. The binding’s simple structure, excellent adjustability and suitability for almost all footwear solve most of the problems that hikers, hunters and others moving off-track in snowy nature have previously encountered.
- weight: 1200 g / pair
- steel and aluminum construction in the binding body, side springs and heel piece
- robust screw fastening
- a 140 mm long heel pad made of elastic material prevents snow from packing under the shoe
- Suitable for footwear sized EUR 38-49 when using standard-length side springs
- Suitable for use, among others, with all NATO-issued summer and winter boots and field footwear
- All binding parts are individually replaceable
- The binding is also made in Finland
The NordiGrip 50 binding has several details that make its use easier:
- The binding is easy and quick to open and lock with one hand while wearing mittens using the large lever
- The width of the binding body and the appropriate angle of the side pieces can be adjusted almost steplessly when the binding screws are loosened
- The binding’s aluminum side springs attach to the binding piece with a strong, easily removable hook
- The side springs have a thread that goes into the binding’s heel piece, allowing the distance of the heel piece to be adjusted steplessly according to the size and model of the footwear used
- Through the holes in the binding’s side pieces, a safety strap can be fastened over the toe of the boot
- The binding’s construction allows a hunter to operate while wearing skis also in prone and kneeling positions
