Although a sauna bucket is a great gift idea, it is worth remembering that it will also be used in reality. The Ukko Sauna Bucket is designed for heavy use and is therefore made of stainless steel. The wooden parts are aspen. If we think about it for a moment, the sauna bucket is part of the sauna experience. A sauna bucket has three significant basic characteristics in practice: volume, dimension and handling.

As a rule, the volume of sauna buckets varies from 2 to 3 deciliters. The Ukko Sauna Bucket is designed to be smaller, i.e. the volume is 1.5 deciliters. Basically, Finnish saunas are 8 m3 in size, so the sauna pocket is about 6 m3. Assuming that the air temperature in a sauna of the above size is >75 degrees Celsius, the relative humidity may rise to a high level. The purpose of our sauna bucket is to provide a controlled increase in air humidity. So no more red ears due to excessive sauna volumes!

The importance of the reach depends on the size of the sauna. If the distance from the seat to the sauna heater is significantly long, this should be taken into account when purchasing a sauna bucket. Especially in the most impressive saunas, where there may be several sauna users, a long-handled sauna bucket is an excellent tool. The Ukko Sauna Bucket has a handle of 65 cm at the longest end on the market. The length of the handle also increases safety, as you do not have to bring your hand too close to the sauna heater.
